Teen Driving
Students between the ages of 15 and 18 years of age are required to complete a state certified driving course that includes 24 hours of classroom and 14 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. For those students who completed the 24 hours of classroom instruction at another school/online course and have not yet completed the behind the wheel practice may enroll in our teen driving course. Before enrolling, however, the student will need to obtain a transfer from their previous school. During the 14 hours, they will be accompanied by a state-certified instructor, where 7 hours will be driven by the student and the remaining 7 will be utilized to observe another student driving. After finishing the lessons, the student will receive a certificate of completion along with the insurance discount certificate.
If a student wishes to obtain individual practice hours after the completion of the teen course, they are more than welcome to purchase additional lessons with us.
