IMPACT TEXAS TEEN DRIVERS
IMPACT (ITTD) is a separate requirement as an online 2 hour video and must be completed no more than 90 days prior to the applicant taking the skills examination. All students taking Driver’s Education are required to watch and complete this video, regardless of which school or online Drivers Ed. program they have completed.
ITTD should be completed after the 32 classroom hours and all behind the wheel instruction has been given and is the last step before taking the driving skills examination. All skills examination applicants who completed a Teen Driver Education program must complete the ITTD program and obtain proof of completion prior to taking the driving skills examination. The proof of completion must be provided to the Department or Third Party Skills Test (TPST) school prior to administration of the skills examination and no later than ninety (90) days after program completion.
IMPACT (ITTD) is offered by the Department free of charge.

IMPACT for Texas Adult Drivers
The Impact for Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) is separate requirement as an online 1 hour video and must be completed no more than 90 days prior to the applicant taking the skills examination. Regardless of age, all adult drivers must watch and complete the video.
*Must have taken the 6-hour adult course in order to watch the Adult IMPACT video.
